5.1 Track Splitter™ overview

Track Splitter™ technology

3D MP3 Sound Recorder implements the standard features of many available sound recorders but incorporates one extremely useful feature that sets it apart: its Track Splitter™ technology allows you to record audio streams from Internet Radio that are split into separate WAV/MP3 files automatically. This means that you don't have to baby-sit the process as other audio recorders demand.

Now it's possible to record literally hundreds of songs in your favorite music genre from Internet Radio stations without attendance. Using the unique Scheduled Recording mode, you can specify starting and stopping times for recording, and let Track Splitter™ separate songs into files for you.

A separate Timed Recording mode allows you to specify the length of time you wish to record and have recording stop automatically after the timed countdown ends. Track Splitter™ may be used in this mode also.

Full control of MP3 file bit-rate allows you to select the file size and sound quality you desire in your recordings.

The program is very easy to use - simply click the record button and it will start recording. Simple buttons allow choice of WAV or MP3 file format, and Track Splitter™ feature on/off control

Effect of Track Splitter™ technology

Using Track Splitter™ technology, 3D MP3 Sound Recorder can do silence detection and voice activated recording. This technology makes it easy to do some recording tasks impossible before. like eliminate silence from sound, split source sound to separate files , automatically stop recording when silence is detected, etc.

This technology is very helpful when you record streaming audio from internet. Due to the web traffic, the audio played through internet can not be as perfect as played on your local PC. Without using this feature, obviously there will be a lot of long time silence in your recorded files.

With this enhanced version, you are able to define silence time to make the result more reasonable, for example, short silence is necessary in some conversation, music etc. you don't want your files are split into very small pieces, this can be done by setting delay time when you set up signal recoding mode.

Result sound effects are different for different time delay. Here is a piece of source sound includes three pieces of silence which are 3 seconds,8 seconds and 1 second.

we used time delay of 0 second, 2 seconds,5 seconds and 10 seconds, click on the following links to see the result sound effects for different cases.
